with Rachael Dodd, £80, Weds 13 June
A full day workshop with Rachael Dodd
at the Walled Garden Treberfydd on Wednesday 13 June 2018
Plants for hot sunny terraces and cool shady courtyards, seasonal succession or a one off event, designing plant combinations for colour, form, texture - Garden Pot Displays allow you to tackle and trial all these situations.
This workshop considers which plants to choose for displays and how to grow them, the selection of pots or containers, the compost and nutrition requirements for potted plants, potting technique, succession within pot displays, seasonal planting, and creating larger displays. All with a focus on using plant combinations to best effect.
The workshop will run from 10am to 4pm including a two course lunch. Coffee will be available beforehand from 9.30am and tea and cake afterwards from 4pm, so there will be plenty of time to wander around the Walled Garden and buy plants, herbs, vegetables, flowers and fruit trees.
Cost £80 per head
